Coach and dd 'played' me in a good way!

I was away for weeks for business and didn't get to see 9 yo dd skate at all (dad was doing the driving). When I returned she had learned double toe, double flip and double lutz! They didn't say a THING the whole time I was gone....those sly foxes. It was a lovely surprise and my dd was beside herself waiting to show me!!

Hi momof3chicks

That is good for you.

Sometimes kids work better when their parents have not watched them skating for a while.

I think she so wanted to show me something, that she worked even harder. It was awesome and I was so proud of her.
