Boys socks ? Knee highs ?

What do boys wear in their skates ? DS is experimenting and has not found anything that really works for him. He's tried : thin cotton socks, my black dress socks and bare feet. Which were ok but not great. Do they make men's skating socks ? I don't think I could get him into knee high nylons !!! LOL

Both my boys have tried various things. What works best for them is women's black knee-high trouser socks. They're not sheer like nylons but they're pretty thin. They're more like tights. Not sure where you're located but I buy them at Walgreen's. I stock up when they're on sale. We've tried the nylon variety and they just don't hold up very well.

Since they're knee-high's they fold them down over their boots to keep their laces secure.

Works like a charm.
