i had my first lesson

hey everyone, I just got back from my first lesson. It was great! Mostly I just worked on my front and back cross-overs today. I'm rusty, but im re-learning fast. And I can still do a loop jump! I really like my coach and I'm going to be training hard--3 times a week plus practice. I can't wait to get really good again. I'm off to go practice again...yay!

3 times a week + practice? Lucky! I only get one half-hour group lesson a week and 1-hour practice on another day.

but i'm learning fast and my parents will get me some private lessons when I'm bronze (i hope) and I'm going to beg for at least 2 practices a week (extra)

you're very lucky *jealous*

and also, congratulations on keeping your abilities..

Ah, come on, Lyle - remember the first rule of adult skating? Never, ever compare yourself to the kids!
