Harlick Boot Dressing

Hi,
I have Risport RF1 boots which came with a super cool kinda irridescent pattern on them which I loved!
Unfortunetly I was doing a show and had to have them dyed tan colour which I was willing to do but then it didnt turn out right as the stuff that was used wasnt mean for skates!
Since I have tried to find any type of colouring which would either get the correct colour of tan or white?
I realise that I am not going to get the pattern back but if I can at least get them to a recognisable colour I will be happy!
I have tried around where I live but not had much joy though I somehow found a link the other night which led me to Harlick Boot Dressing which is available in tan or white.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience using this plus also where I could get it?
Any help appreciated Thanks

Belle

I've used Harlick boot pigment on white boots and they also mixed some purple for my purple boots. It's great stuff, the best that I've ever found. I got mine directly from Harlick. They will mix you colours as well so you don't just have to get black, white or tan

Belle, next time you need your boots to look tan for a show- tape them with tan tape, instead. I've seen synchro girls who also do freestyle do this, and it looks fine.

The only problem with doing that is that it can take the surface off your skate when you take it off again which is a pain when you want to take your skates back to their 'normal' colour. I used to tape the front of my skates to stop the scuff marks when you do drags but you could never take it off as it messed up the leather.

I've never been to a competition before, but I think you can wear toast/ suntan over the boot tights, or tape them.

Iv heard of a few people using tape, but as I say I aint gonna have the effect I had on my skates now anyway so I just want them to look a normal colour instead of a kinda sickly colour which makes them look ill!! I use over boot tights most of time anyway its just for the show it needed to be flesh fishnets!!

Iv found someone who supplies the harlick boot dressing now so im just waiting to get it and hopefully have a normal colour again soon!!

Thanks Everyone!
