It's been a year ago today since my DD's last competition. Between knee problems , Axel issues , and me being Laid Off 2008 was not a good year skating wise for us. We're both a little down in the dumps today but I'm doing my best to encourage her to persevere. She see's the Orthopedic for her knee on Tuesday, hopefully we'll get some answers.

Good luck, Luckey. It must be really tough for both of you to sit on the sidelines for so long. I know my DD would go nuts if she couldn't compete. We just got back from watching part of the Desert Ice competition at LVIC. It's another fun one. I hope next year goes a whole lot better for you.

Don't feel sad! I hope you get some good news back from the doctor. I know when I had to quit skating because of money I was really depressed for a while. Now I coach and love it! I'm hoping to make enough to go back and take more of my tests! Keep your chin up and you'll find a way to make it through.
