Pronation

After I got my own skates, I found my right arch was aching and cramping a lot, and it was difficult to get off an inside edge. Everything was (and still is) easier on the left foot, which didn't hurt at all. Both my feet have always been flat, but a few months on, I now have a comparatively high arch on my right foot. I can only imagine that my blades are aligned slightly differently, though they don't look it.

Not surprisingly, I'd quite like a left arch as well! Can anyone suggest any exercises that I can do to strengthen it? Is it perhaps worth getting my blades adjusted? I've tried doing towel curls, but they don't seem to make the arches work in the same way.

Thanks,
minty
