Where can you find patterns?
I hear people talking about different patterns,
like the Dutch Waltz, the Cha cha, etc. Anyone know where you can find them? Are they in the USFSA rule book? /kind regards, Simon |

Yes, they are in the rule book along with the detailed outline of the steps. They are also in the LTS book.

PSA sells a handy spiral-bound book on dances
Quote:
This is a good guide, and easier to carry to the rink than the USFS rules book. http://www.skatepsa.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=105 |

I took the patterns from the learn-to-skate book, shrank them down on a copier and laminated them.....then I could carry them around with me on the ice instead of the book. I actually punched a hole in the corner and strung elastic banding through and could string them on my wrist until I was ready for them. Made it easier. Everyone thinks my "dance cards" are cool. On the back I have the steps defined and illustrated.

This is a link to all of the judges forms, which include the patterns for dance tests. |
