I believe it was "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights."

Next time I'm in NC, let's go karaokeing (after major imbibing)!

Awe, thanks so much - that really means a lot!! It's so 'difficult' when you have a program you feel good about and then struggle through it with an inury.

Your program was amazing btw - so musical from start to finish. Plus I'm an Oksana fan so I LOVED the music choice. Good luck at Nationals! You and Angelo should come back to Peach one of these years...

That would be so much fun - I've only tried karaoke once and it was a huge disaster (never attempt karaoke to a Lil'Kim track - TRUST me) ;]

Frank

Uhhh, think 1992 ... Albertville.

Simon rules, btw. Just watched the results show. What is America thinking? Of course, these are probably the same people that put Celine Dion and Mariah Carey at the top of the charts, so I don't know why I'm shocked.

And I also like Hubert in general. It's just that one performance that always sticks in my mind.

We practiced that look very hard. It was the side-by-side scowl combination, which is worth 2.1 in the new system. We're currently working on adding some features to get it up to a level 3, but our "tsk"s are out of synch and the difficult hands on hips entrance hasn't been working out. On the plus side, our speed in the run-from-the-room dismount is quite good!

Tim

(And a Side-by-Side scowl combo could only be invented by a team named Grim and Mizerak)

And don't forget the +1 bonus for a new move.

Deb and I promise not to do a Celine Dion/Mariah Carey/Whitney Houston medley. Unless we're *really* tanked. I think then we'd see a level 4 scramble from you guys (I like Grim&Timm--catchy!) clamoring to escape.

(I didn't see AI tonight, but read that Sundance got booted. Boo! Hiss! I liked Sundance, and Pearl Jam is one of my favorite bands. I remember being in 12th grade when "Jeremy" was released--ah, the memories ...)

Gah! Where are the photos? I am emailing the photographers right now. They had a very nice shot of my layback that I'd like to buy, and I didn't have time to order it at the event.

And in the final maneuver, the level 4 +3GOE drunken "splat and slide" Carey and NoVa manage to eke out a first place finish due to the technical nature, difficult placement and flawless execution.

If you guys get *really* tanked I'd like to see you do "Stand Up" by Ludacris and bust out the freestyle rap.

*Capital* Idea!!!

FWIW, why don't some of the adult competitions offer karaoke at the Competitor's party?

Hi Tim,

Thanks so much for the compliments on my skate and for the well wishes. Unfortunately, I couldn't see all of your event and didn't see you skate your program because I was putting a friend on the ice on Rink 3 at the same time. However, Meghann told me that you did very well. Congratulations to you.

Frank

I emailed the site yesterday, and I got a response email that said they should be up "in a day or two."

Thanks, TimmyDavid!

Keep eatin dem dear apples!!! Fresh fruites, vegetables, eggs, fish, turkey, chicken, and other meats (if you are not a vegetarian,) whole grain breads, whole grain pastas, beans and legumes, also important to get some fats into your diet, too, but just in smaller amounts, such as salad dressing, ect...

Easy to follow: just shop the perimeters of the supermarket. All of the process "junk" foods are mostly in the middle aisles. Stay away from "fast food" restaurants, such as KFC, McDonalds, Olive Garden, ect...and only go rarely as treats if you must.

If you eat healthy, your whole life will totally turn around. You can expect to feel physical changes with in one month of getting the chemicals, preservatives, and food coloring out of your system: you will be able to sleep, work, and play without exhaustion and, or mental fatique. You will have Uber Energy from eating food that is less processed and closer to it's natural form: the body was designed to eat foods closer to nature and knows what to do with them.

Oh, soda is garbage, too. It's just chemical water, and although it will quench your initiall thirst, there is enough sugar (non-diet) and aspertane type subsititues (diet) to get you extremely thirsty again after the first quench, and send you on a viscious cycle.

For an English person, "soda" just means sparkling water, not fizzy pop! And as one should drink about 2 litres of water each day, having some of it sparkling can make a pleasant change!

Here we call it sparkling, or mineral water, such as Perrier, which is great stuff...water with a little carbonation. Yes, one needs to drink a lot of water each day and, especially, when excersizing.

The bad/evil stuff, which I'm refering to, are sodas, such as Coke and Pepsie, ect...I know people who go through a six pack of this garbage per day, which is a lot of synthetic chemicals to put inside of your body.

Yes, I realised that was what you were referring to, but, as so often when our two versions of English diverge, did a double-take! We'd call Coke & Pepsi, etc, "fizzy drinks" or "fizzy pop". And vile they are, too....

Looks like the official photographers have posted some photos. Mine are up, but I couldn't find a few people's. I wonder if they only post if you request them?

I just went to their website, and can't find any skating pictures at all. Where did you go on http://www.pierre.com/ to find your pictures? Why is this taking so long???
