Terri,

Again, I wish you the BEST of luck on your test! We're cheerin' for ya big time! (I love Jazz's pom pom girls, yep, that's us!)

Actually, you are so well-prepared, luck won't enter into it, but you know what I mean. It's just a well wish for you to do your best. And I know you can. And you WILL!!!!! ...to you for working so hard.

Thank you everyone!!
I am glad to say that today's lesson with Secondary Coach (who will be putting me out for this test) was wayyyy better from last week's Lesson From Hell.
Everything seems to be coming together, with the exception of RFO power threes- I can never seem to get them at the top of the lobe.
We will be hoping that patterns 4&5 ( back crossover to back outside edge and five step mohawk ) will go over for extra points and I will not need a reskate!

I do have one question for people who do work out off ice- do you scale your workout down on Test Week or do your normal routine?

Keep all well wishes, public and private coming!!

I don't really do any off-ice workouts, but my coach tells me to scale down my skating the week of competition or testing so that my muscles are fresh.

GOOD LUCK, KNOW THAT YOU CAN DO IT, AND NEVER GIVE UP!!

I do ease off a bit the week before the test but I'm still doing "something." (And this is BOTH on ice and off ice...)

It's just after midnight (my time) and I'm sending good vibes to you on your test day! You'll be great. Remember you bought this test ice.. it's all yours, so use it to show off what you can do!

I can hardly wait to hear how you do and what the judges and your coach say!

Best wishes!

Thin-Ice

Just remember, you've already done all the work, so all you have to do is skate the moves like you always do. Break a leg! (not one of yours, of course).
