don't you love those? you know, when things just click? i had one of those today. i'm not sure how it happened, but i got the timing for my double flip. i hadn't skated in a week, so i was NOT expecting to skate well. plus, my skates were killing my feet.

i worked through double loop and decided i might as well try some double flips. i was expecting spectacular wipe-outs or lots of popped jumps. but no. the first one i landed i figured was a fluke. but then i kept landing them, and the ones i fell on were silly falls.

i also remember having a moment like that on the split falling leaf. i decided to try working on them since i think they are such gorgeous jumps. whenever i do split jumps of any kind, i do them near the glass so i can see the reflection. i saw a gorgeous, fully split, high, jump!
