isi competition help

OK

I'm sorry to keep bothering you all. DD has a program for ISI . Now for her one freestyle one move she is doing a waltz jump. But there is also a catch foot spiral in her program. Isn't that also a fresstyle 1 move? (In the list it says arabesque, I thought that means spiral) so isn't that 2 fs 1 moves? Or is it not because its a catch foot?

I know on the site it's always said to trust the coach. But I am naturally a double checker. I've been know to turn back and check my door if it's closed multiple times. (oh my I am so OCD) So please don't hold it against me.

In ISI, a catch foot spiral is called a "Chinese Spiral" or "Chinese Arabesque." (Spiral = Arabesque in skating)

For some reason, it's always been considered an "uncaptured gliding maneuver," which I have never understood. It does seem that it should be only allowed when a spiral/arabesque is allows. But, any skater at any level can include it in their program.

The list of uncaptured maneuvers is in the ISI handbook.
