There used to be -- and then one day, it was gone.

Something about bandwidth.

You could always set one up using aim or yahoo and find a time when people can meet. I think bravenet may have a chatroom.

This has a chatroom but has not been used much recently, but I guess if you make a start someone may answer you and get the ball rolling.

Could we not set up one on Yahoo? New rooms seem to pop up all the time on yahoo chat.

New IRC Network

Well I have bandwidth to spare...so...

I just set up a new IRC network for skaters.

To use, download an IRC client of your choice (mIRC is a popular choice for Windows), and use it to connect to irc.sk8rland.com

Once you are signed on, type /join #sk8rland to see anybody else who might be around. You can also create other channels at will, and the skatingforums.com folks are welcome to alias irc.skatingforums.com to the same IP address if they like.

If you're completely lost, message me, or read http://www.mirc.com/install.html

This service is free to all, and will remain up indefinitely. Hope to see you all there!
