I HATE it when my blades get tangled in my trouser legs! BOOM!

Unfortunately, leggings wouldn't be a good solution for me. I'd be...um... self-conscious, to say the least.

Ahh, but see, if you are anything like me, you will manage to get your heel stuck in even the leggings. I did that about a year ago coming out of a double sal. I was wearing a pair of savvy skater pants that you pull over the heel, so they're skin-tight. I still managed to catch my blade right above my boot. I fell hard AND ripped the pants!

HA! HA! I get what you are saying! I sort of do have the figure for it so I'm ok with it. And if anyone doesn't like it, I'll HIP-CHECK THEM!!!

Oh yes, my coach and I both agreed-I am a walking accident! My last pair of leggings are ripped to shreds from all my previous backspin attempts...from catching the heel of my blade!

But having flares (they are straight but feel like flares) are just an invitation to danger! ... see Bill's response above for clarification!

Same here. I've come to realize that it doesn't matter what I wear. Pants, tight leggings, tights and a dress....somehow I'll manage to get caught in them and if I don't injure myself that way, then I'll just do something else stupid like trip over my toepicks and slam down on my kneecaps.
