While I'm still in shock, I had a very interesting test this time.
They called my name, and announce that this is the Bronze Freeskating test.
I do my program, and while I miffed the opening backscratch and the forward scratch was questionable, my jumps were fine and I totally nailed the sitspin!
After my program the judge in charge calls me over and was confused as to why I did a program with music where the test form they had stated that there was no music for this test. Turns out they had the forms for Pre Bronze free and asked me to let the other skaters do their freeskating tests while the correct forms were downloaded.
So I let the girls take their tests and was just totally laughing at the situation- what else could I do?

When it was time to go back out I was given two options. One was to reskate the entire program, the other was to reskate the missed elements.
Which one do you think I did? I reskated the backscratch and held a nice long exit edge.
Then I came off the ice and the first question to Primary Coach was "Is this really it?"
Well it was it and Grand Rapids , AN 2009, here I come!!

Terri C: No one is ever more determined to pass this test than you! And today you finally showed that love of the sport, determination and drive will eventually win out!!! You stayed the course and on the present!

Congratulations on passing this test! I know you've worked long and hard for this... and how much you wanted it!!! You knew you had it in you to do it and you DID IT TODAY!!!



Enjoy the lambic (sp?) and RIP UP THAT D*** "PRE-BRONZE FS for Life" Membership Card!!! (Stomp on the pile a few times for good measure too!)

Okay, one more image... sorta a reminder of what you need to do for that Rolling Stones number!!!



(Psst.. there is a bottle of champagne chillin' for 'ya right now for Grand Rapids...)

I already congratulated you, but hey, what the heck, I'll do it again - lol!

Congratulations, Terri!!

That's crazy about the test form. The test chair ought to be able to tell the difference bet Pre-Bronze and Bronze and get the right form - sheesh. The first time I tested Silver MIF, the judges were given the forms for Silver FS. Fortunately, one of the judges, who has judged several of my tests and comps before, asked me before the test session started what I was testing (since she probably was wondering when I'd tested and passed the MIF if I was really testing FS) and when I told her, she went off to have the test chair get the correct forms before I tested.

I knew you'd do it! Massive, and well-deserved I might add, congratulations for passing AB FS. On to AN in 2009 you go!

Your determination, drive, and focus sticking with this goal paid off for you. You won it in the end. SO happy for you!
