Anyone seen my loop? It was beginning to become consistent, but I haven't seen it in over a month and I need it for Calgary

I figured it out with like ehm... Well, this basically.
Yes I know she's jumping a falling leaf in the picture but... well you know the take-off works for the loop too.

I hope this helps

Unless you're talking about a 2loop?

Give it a while to load, it's a bmp

2Loop?? Not in this lifetime! The missing jump is just a simple loop. Thanks for sharing the pictures.....

I'll bet that since you're nervous about CAN that you're rushing that BO edge to the loop. I know when I'm nervous or stressed that it throws the loop timing off for me and it's only when I regroup and focus on holding that BO edge just a tad long that I do get it back.

Try it and see what happens!!! And good luck getting that loop back for Calgary!

And I like this loop very much, it helped me some too:

And it helped me to practice on socks before a biiig mirror in the form of a darkened window (light inside, dark outside I mean) to see what my arms were doing.

I've been doing my loop for about a year, and I've never really 'lost' it or any other jump. Strangely enough, sit spins were my best spins at one point, but I seem to have lost them! Also, I tend to miss the simplest things during a competition. I don't think I feel nervous, but I've ended up missing/falling on loops, flips, lutzes, spins...even footwork! I hate doing great in paractice and terrible in competition.

I've seen girls who do double axels fall on footwork... I think that happens to anyone.

Sessy - those photos are great! I'm trying to relearn my loop from a long back edge like that, and those really show step-by-step what to do. I realized that my BO edge isn't nearly deep enough (and this may be why I'm barely getting off the ice!). Thanks for posting those!

I've recently lost my lutz... it wasn't absolutely perfect before, either, but at least I could land it and get the rotation. When I was doing it once, I fell really hard on my knee and now i keep telling myself that it's harder than it is and that if I try it again I'll fall again. It's like some mental block!!
