Yeah technically, but she's not getting much push. But she picked a music that doesn't require it so that's okay I guess.

ballet for a year when i was 7-8 yrs
modern dance for a year when i was 11-12 yrs thus ended my dancing career. i didn't like it. i think my ballet teacher was sad, apparently i had so much potential... ![]() helping skating-wise, well I don't know, I haven't danced for more than a year before beginning skating, but I think my general flexibility was better after dance.

Regarding Healy - lovely, but it does kind of annoy me when people rave about her as a skater because she has nice positions, when really, if you looked at her edges rather than her leg position in her spiral - they were quite wobbly. I felt the same way about Sasha Cohen, although her edges did improve. But it bothers me that skating is becoming more about being a contortionist than holding a good edge. I still prefer Dorthy Hamil's straight backed, hip level, secure edge spiral.

Understandable, if you've been off the ice for 7 years but it's kind of annoying yeah. But at least they did a good job picking the music to make it less noticeable. But somehow when I see that... I've got a skating friend who's 32 years old and has been skating for 4 years and does double toes and axels. Anyway technically, she skates better than this (presentation wise not).
