bad toe-axel habit

Does anyone have any advice on how to break the "toe-axel" habit on the double-toe? My daughter's coach went away for a couple of weeks right after she started landing double toe's. While he was gone, she somehow 'forgot' how to do them, but kept trying on her own - which led to this bad habit. She knows what the take-off is supposed to be like, but somehow can't make her body do it. Any tips?? Thanks!

Have her work on the cross picking method versus the pick "next" to the skating foot. Basically, you can't toe axel the jump if you use the pick behind (cross pick) because you can't rotate it that far.

You can also have her try from a toe walley set up with an outside three turn, step down, pick and jump or from a falling leaf or split jump.
