Skate@Delaware, yippee about the loop!!!! That's great!

Thanks for the ride to class on Saturday, flo! It was actually nice to have to run onto the ice and just skate with no warmup because it's good preparation for if something doesn't go as planned at a test or a competition. However, that BO3 combination was a doozy for me!!

Okay, I'll have to give my sob story about the loop here and then my happy ending story on the other lesson/practice thread.

Strong and Sure:

• Sit and one foot spin okay.
• Waltz, and salchow okay. Toe loop is fine, which probably means I'm doing them wrong again.

Weak and Wimpy:

• Well, the loop went from shaky but still week landings to landing and falling on my BUTT!!! (This fall secondary coach would have been proud of...) I ended up going back to the wall just so I can make sure that I keep up with my wall drill and when I realize that I started back on my bad habit of landing on two feet again, I called it the day on the loop! I don't want to reinforce bad habit.
• Per secondary coach's orders, no FLIPS were practiced today!!!
• Camel was also wimpy too.
• When I was dodging one kid, another came and fell right in front of me and I didn't have time to stay. It was looking to be a repeat of that nasty fall where I ended up gashing my knee... but for some reason, this fall seemed slower... and I had just enough time to get myself from falling on my knee again to falling on my butt!!! (If primary coach saw this, he would have been proud!!!)
• Due to my bad day, I just decide that I'll just practice edges and 3turns and just to take it easy...
