Grand Rapids Open, Anyone?

I know it's not even AN yet, but I'm considering doing the Grand Rapids Open (at the same rink) in June. Anyone else interested?

If I DO decide to go, can I hand-deliver my application to AN, or should I just drop it in a mailbox?

DO IT!! If you didn't know, we do have IJS for Gold & Masters!

You can probably just hand deliver your entry form at ANs; I doubt Denise would mind!
I'll be in Orlando that weekend, though, so I won't get to see everyone.

I'm probably out this year, I'm hoping to just work on dance for a bit after ANs and test the Blues and Starlight at the end of May, and planning to spend this summer 1) putting together a new program, 2) getting my axel consistent, and 3) actually working on/testing my jr moves. But I say I'm going to focus on moves every summer and never really do, so we'll see if that actually happens

Kind of getting down to the wire though if the new stuff passes, and I don't really want to have to do the loop pattern on jr.

I'm trying to decide if I will make GRO my AN for the year and compete. My coach wants me to test silver MIF at that comp. Let's hope I actually manage to GET a LBO3 by then...

I'm bumping this up now that ANs is done and the deadline is coming up!

If you want to relive (or redo!) your ANs experience, GRO will be held 6/18 - 6/20!

We offer free skating events for Adult Pre-Bronze through Gold/Masters and an Adult Showcase (aka Interp) event. We also use IJS for the Gold/Masters level.

The announcement is available at http://www.ggrfsc.org/documents/GRO09.pdf and is due by 5/2 (though, we will accept late entries).

I went to the doctor today, and she confirmed my hunch that I AM suffering from sciatica, and prescribed a muscle relaxant and physical therapy. Given that, I can't possibly make GRO this year.
