Happy birthday, Frank! If only you were coming to Peach we could all celebrate together.

Thanks so much!!

Hi Terri and Lori,

Thanks so much for the birthday wishes. As much as I'd like to say I'm 25, I was honest when I filled out my information on skatingforums and my true age is showing at the bottom of the main page. (D'oh! )

I'm not skating today but I should be on the ice tomorrow. Hopefully the positive birthday vibes you sent me will follow me onto the ice.

Take care and thanks again,

Frank

Thanks Marna! I appreciate the birthday wishes. I still don't have a program so I couldn't go to Peach. But maybe next year? In any case, good luck to you and all at Peach and have fun.

Have a vodka nip in my name!

Take care,

Frank

Pooh pooh! I don't have a program either, but I'm still going. I'm just doing a bunch of "throw-away" events, like jumps, compulsory moves, team event, and interp. I'm not going to let not having a program stop me from enjoying the fun!

Yeah! Speaking for someone who was fou*cough*cough* on her last birthday, enjoy your youth.

Hey there Lori,

That's very true. With the variety of events offered at Peach, it's not really necessary to have a program.

Originally, I had decided to start my competitive season in the late fall/early winter because I wanted to work on moves, refine my stroking, improve my spins, and play with new jumping passes first before starting work on a new program and getting in the competition mind-set. Usually, I do the Moran Memorial Championships to start my season and go from there. This year I wanted to try something a little different in scheduling my events. We'll see how it works for me. (Hopefully it wasn't a mistake on my part. ) I do fully intend on doing Peach at some point since it is such a great adult event. Hopefully I'll see you there soon enough.

Take care,

Frank

Hey NCSkater02,

Thanks! I'm not complaining. I'm just saying I can't say I'm 25 anymore. It's not a bad thing to not be 25 anymore, but it wouldn't hurt either, or so my back keeps telling me.

Take care,

Frank

Happy birthday Frank, and good luck with all your skating!

How old were you when you started?

Hi Casey,

Thanks so much! I was 23 when I started skating. (I signed up for group lessons Memorial Day weekend of 2000)

I appreciate the birthday wishes and the kind words.

Take care,

Frank
