The epitome of adult skating

The scene: Bristol Ice Rink, which is well-heated, and it was quite a warm day. The back door has been opened, and two skaters are standing outside getting some air.

The topic of conversation: hot flushes!!!!!

Who said this was a sport for kids?

Sometimes the rink is the BEST place to be when you get one!!! I remember last year during Nutcracker when we were all standing backstage...waiting for our cue when I got one! Cold no more (except my toes)!!! I had girls hugging up to me for warmth!

Hi! I'm fairly new, have lurked more than I've posted, so here goes- re flashes-annoying, especially when you're teaching groups/privates. I agree w/Skate@Delaware - nothing beats the rink when you get them.

Whenever I skate for myself I'm usually soaked by the time I'm finished. I have a small towel/travel size powder I use while in the Ladie's Room, plus I have a spare top to change into and i usually feel comfortable afterwards.
