Looking for something on USFS website -- HELP!!

I am desperately looking for the pages on the website where they go through all of the MITF and list the common errors and expectations for each move.

I can't find my copy and searched the site -- I know it is there but it is deeply hidden since they added all of the IJS stuff -- HELP ME skatingforums techno-wonks!!

Nah, still bored.

I feel blind without being able to open half my files.

I did today and tomorrow's weekly work, so I'm going to tackle my problem now that the pressure's off. That way, if I make it worse (a likely scenario) I have until Monday to fix it or bring in my laptop from home!

Back on topic: I had that link on my USB drive, but I'm not sure what's actually in the documents. Check it out.

Doesn't Sk8Stuff.com have a page with these links on it?

If you don't already have the Foxit Reader, download it now! This is so superior to the Adobe Reader that I have it as the default on all my PC's. It's free, free, free. Among the advantages to Foxit are the ability to use your mouse scroll button, greater speed, low use of resources, and more user friendly than Adobe.

It's the weirdest thing. That document NEVER comes up when you search the USFSA website. You have to go to Google and type in "moves in the field common errors" in order for it to come up (even thought it is on the USFSA site). I don't know how they manage to hide it so well, LOL.

Anyway, if you can't open a PDF file, let me know what test you want to know about and I'll be happy to copy and paste the text for each of the moves you need.

You know, that document is from 2002 and I don't think everything in it is accurate. So I would still depend more on the rulebook than on it.

There are a bunch of videos and diagrams coming to the usfs web site on the adult moves structure. Soon, very soon. But I don't know exactly when they'll all be posted on the usfs web site.

Yes, this is what I am looking for -- can't find my copy and am too cheap to buy one of those plastic covered ones from PSA or whatever (actually, I'd rather spend the money for my own skating!).

Thanks to all of you guys for responding so quickly. I am going to have to bookmark that site!!

They manage to hide pretty much *everything* on that site. Somebody needs to seriously redesign the navigation of that thing to make it functional.

Surely they can't hide things as badly as NISA does? That wouldn't be actually possible.....

If they made it too easy, no one would buy the manuals.

I think that's why the ISI doesn't post a lot of things on their website. They need the revenue from the publication sales.

Besides, that's what the binding machine and covers at the office are for, LOL! I saw that my MIF coach had the manual from 2001 so I printed out the 2002 version that's on the USFSA website and bound it with a plastic cover and backing and gave it to her. She was so happy!
