Depending on how difficult their moves are, sometimes the best time to join is when they are changing routines. Before I found out I was going to have to have surgery, I planned on joining my girlfriends synchro team when they started learning their new short program. That way, we were all on the same page at the same time. I would let them continue to compete their long program without me until they changed it.

Maybe next year.

Sure. So far i can't do them on either foot, but my RFO edge are better than my LFO edge...and that edge has been killing me on a lot of things from 3turns to even backspins.
