IL State Champs Results for Black Sheep
I brought home two medals today: Silver (out of 3) for my Gold FS program, and Bronze for my Interp. program. Seems I'm back on the "plus side", and I am happy!

And might I add, it was a well-skated event...in all four events (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Interp). No falls or major errors by anyone. And my medal matched my costume! Yay!
After competing, I went to a mall near the rink for some Christmas shopping. It's a rather upscale mall (Nieman-Marcus, bebe, Betsey Johnson, etc.), and I stayed in my skating clothes, complete with sparkly stars in my hair and body shimmer. I have a rather youthful appearance (when I'm skate guarding, people ask me which one of the local high schools I go to.  ), so I was prepared for the worst. However, I was treated wonderfully, even with the usual pre-Christmas bustle.Erin (who brings her birth certificate to adult competitions in case someone doesn't believe I'm 25!)
