Removing crystals
Anyone have any tips for removing crystals that have been attached with E6000?

If you don't intend on using the dress or whatever you are removing the crystals from again, you can peel them off very carefully (without goo gone). Don't rip too hard or you'll pull the foil off the back of the stone, you ideally want to peel it so that a lot of the glue comes off with the stone (rather than it staying on the dress) to keep the foil from ripping off. You can then just rub this off the back of the stone before re-using it.

So the answer was :
. Heat with a hair dryer then carefully pull off the stones. -or- . Use lighter fluid or Goo Gone to dissolve the glue bond, then pull them off. Test the lighter fluid or Goo Gone first - it may stain the fabric, although the blogger says she's had really good luck with it coming out of lycra with no stains.

Thanks!!!
We don't like the sleeves on my new dress, and of course I had already put the crystals on them. This will save me some $$ ![]()
