Buying skates in Atlanta

Does anybody have a suggestion for a place to get skates fitted and bought in Atlanta? We don't really have a good place at home and we're going to Atlanta next weekend to see a competition, so I thought i would do it there.

Thanks~

The Ice Forum at Town Center, Kennesaw definitely has a pro shop although it was closed when I went there for a public session. There is also the Ice Forum in Duluth which has a pro shop. The links to the pro shops from the Ice Forum website don't work but contact the rinks directly and see if they can give you some information.

Good luck!

Sarah

yes....

We skate at the cooler, and they have some skates there in their pro shop, but there is a store in Marietta called Toe Pick and Sticks on Chastain Meadow parkway. They do hockey and figure skating. I believe they will probably be at the cooler this weekend for the Magnolia. Many vendors will be there. (I assume that is the competition you are coming to?)

Thank you! I wasn't sure if there would be vendors there. This is our first skating competition...we're just going as spectators. Anything I should know?

We're staying in Buckhead, how long will it take me to get there?

Thank you again!
