I noticed that you skate in CR, IA. How do you like the new rink? I used to live in that area, and I had heard they built a skating rink, and am curious how it is.

I enjoy reading your threads about beginning skating, as that is the level I am at as well, so I can relate. I took a beginning class in the spring, and have not skated a lot since then, but I will be taking classes during the summer session and am looking forward to it. As for forward crossovers, I can do the right over left foot, but doing left over right is a lot harder for me...I have to do a pause in between each crossover. Good luck with yours! Alexa
