Are the 2006 olympics this Decemeber- January or next year?

One of the senior coaches at my rink told me yesterday that she didn't know the Olympics were coming up in 2006.

The 2006 Olympic Winter Games will be held in Torino, Italy, from Feb. 11-26, 2006. The Paralympic Winter Games are March 10-19, 2006.

Here's hoping the Olympics expand our skating programs.

It would really be nice to be able to catch everything on cable-what you want to watch, when you want to watch it! I hate how they only select certain things for broadcast and leave off other things. I never get to watch fencing anymore.....
