Dd passed Novice MIF, 2 dances!

Every time I sit in the stands, feeling sick watching a test or a competition, I wonder why I do this, and why I pay big bucks to feel this way?!?

I guess it's that big fat "PASS" that makes it all worth it!

Dd passed her Novice MIF, and her Ten Fox and Fourteenstep yesterday!!!
WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!

The moves test was fantastic in some places, iffy in others, and she had a reskate for one of her elements, but in the end, she passed, and it was her first try! She got bonus points, just a few, but she has worked her butt off for them!

She only started testing dance less than a year ago, and had learned Ten Fox about a month ago, and Fourteenstep 2 or 3 weeks ago. She rocked 'em!!!

Yay Little Buggie!!!!

Novice is such a long test and it takes a lot of endurance to get through it

Congrats again!!

Bless her poor heart, coach said dd skated over to her and told her that her legs were shaking from nerves! And it did take FOR EVER for those tests to end. But...on to Junior!

I think it gets worse every time. The worry, the nerves. I know exactly where she struggles and where she doubts. I know every bobble and mis-step she has made during the weeks before any comp/test, and they all live in my head. I know her nerves and her strengths. And I pray, ceaselessly each time, for her to do her best, no matter what. But it gets harder as we go further along in this world...

Junior is not horrible...I'm working on that one now...if it wasn't for those power pulls...

Congratulations to both of you! It takes a lot of parental support to get to those higher tests. She now an official bronze medalist!

Novice moves was the big hurdle for my daughter - I hope your daughter finds junior and senior moves as much fun as my daughter did. I hope she gets through both before the new changes take effect!
