Very Funny!

I've been burned like that- glad to see someone can make a bad buy into something we can all enjoy!

I bought a pair of Silver Stars from Ebay and forgot to ask the magic question: How old are they? Ancient, dried-out leather as soft as socks, but no rust on the blades! (I DID ask about that!) The skates made lovely front porch decorations until the local youth liberated them -- cut the laces right off the railing! Can't imagine why anyone would want them, though.

I especially liked the suggestion in the listing that Pro Shop owners print out the listing and put in their store windows to warn people. Still, people will think they're getting a bargain.

Thanks for the laugh.
