I expected them to be on icenetwork.com, so I didn't track any of them while I was at Easterns today.

A young girl and her mom came up to the registration desk while I was volunteering. They didn't realize it was an adults-only competition, so we had a nice chat about the competitions for younger/lower-level skaters. The daughter is in the Learn to Skate program and she just wanted to watch the competition and ask what comes after Basic 8 for her, assuming she passes the test. I ran through the options for them. They stayed and watched the Championship Masters Jr/Sr Ladies event. When I came home, I thought about the guy last year who wore a skating dress and white skates - that could have been an interesting experience for the girl and her mom.

Had a nice time at the rink - saw a few members skate, had lunch with jwrnskater, but LOOPLOVER PUNKED OUT!
Going back tomorrow to watch and work registration again.

Thanks for posting, Isk8NYC! Does anyone know if there will be a fill-up at AN this year in Champ Gold Men?

I don't think there is fill up at Gold Men. There is at Masters JR SR men.
