(I'm with skaternum ... let's leave my sleep issues out of this thread ... I'm not a total slouch! I mean how many times have I missed a practice or lesson due to oversleeping? )

And I get to watch yours!

I just hope I can find a new prop(a 5 ft long walking stick). The airline destroyed my last one on the flight back from sectionals and I haven't found a good replacement.

I'll be in Gold Ladies I
Saturday 3:44pm

Even though I only skate on Saturday, I'm going to be there for the whole competition, so I'm looking forward to cheering on lots of skatingforums skaters!

Silver Ladies I, Group B
10:23 am Wed, Rink B

Adult Ladies I Interp, Group B
11:45am Thurs, Rink B

Both my warm-up times are 8:45!! And if I make finals (yeah, right), my warm up is also 8:45. How strange is that?

I have one that's about 3 1/2 feet long if you need it (comes up to my lower rib cage, and I'm 5"5'). Your interp sounds veeerry interesting!

First time at nationals for me. I'm in Silver I Group B too! Now to get my Tues practice on a bronze session changed to silver!

BTW, my practice sheet showed me born in 2001 and 4 years old! Did others have this too!

If you're driving and have no problem to pack it in your car, can I ask you to bring it just in case? The choreography might need a little adjustment with the shorter stick, but it's better than going without! I'm practicing with a broom stick now When my coach and I came up with the concept, we didn't think about the difficulties traveling with it. It was easier to travel with my 4 ft Kermit the Frog last year! Next year I'm doing an interp with no props....

Hey Patty - you might want to check out Bed Bath & Beyond or Linens & Things. In the window dept. they have decorative wood rods, some are 4 ft and some are 6 ft, that you could probably use in a pinch - they are kind of scrolly and come in different finishes - like tortoise shell. You may be able to find one a store in or near Overland Park, Kansas - that way you wouldn't have to travel with it to Kansas. Good luck!

OMG! You were Miss Piggy? That was a great interp!

I'm driving, and it will take up no room at all in the back. I'll throw it in, and if you need it then it's there. I'll PM you with my cell phone # so you can get ahold of me if you need it, since we've never actually met in person .
