I will have to aim for next year as well, darned.

My ankle surgery is now set for Aug. 8 and the cast won't be off by Labor Day.

We've been pushing the rehab pretty hard and were up to skating 3 times a week, but I now have to drop back to twice a week while we try to get the swelling under control. Poop. Regardless, I'll be there, even if I have to scratch from all events and just drink heavily at the competitor's party. I'm going to Peach, dammit!
Entered your application today. I was glad to see actual events!!!

I hope the knee behaves. Mine is not behaving either lately. I've learned to live with the feet problems, but when the knee is not happy, the rest of the body is not happy.

Look forward to seeing you again.

P.S. I also got several new apps from skaters in the Raleigh area this year.

Yay!! That's encouraging. I've been talking it up for a month now. PM me or email me and let me know who. We'll make sure their first Peach experience is a good one. Maybe see if they want to carpool with us.
