Ok. I've asked you all how you got into Skating. Now it's time for all my fellow Skaters to please tell me how they got into the Disciplines they do? If you do more the one Discipline,please say how you got into all.

I just like freestyle, coz it looks so elegant, and I like the grace of it.

Also I like jumps and spins.

I do freestyle because of my schedule, although I have done dance with a partner (my partner has retired). I have also done synchro and got into that mostly through show skating.

Too old for free. OK, you can do it, but not really elegant.

Knee injuries from jumps and problems with my foot helped along the way to dance - but I guess it was really that girlfriend (now wife) who wanted to skate that finally pushed me towards dance. The most fun you can have without taking your clothes off
