Mr. Frick passes away
This was posted on the SkatingNews Yahoo Group:
-------------- Subject: Mr Frick passes away I am very sad to let you know that Monday evening, April 14, 2008 at 8:45pm in Zurich, Werner Fritz Groebli exited through the curtain of this world's stage, releasing the bonds of life and bound for a more glorious venue and to be reunited with his loving wife, Yvonne. No specific arrangements have been made, as yet. Updates will be sent as soon as possible. Dave Thomas ------------- For those of you too young to remember Frick and Frack, here's some links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frick_and_Frack http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0989313/ http://www.worldskatingmuseum.org/Mu..._Inductees.htm If there is a heaven, I hope it has ice. Thanks for letting us know. That's sad. I remember seeing him in the 70s.

Me, too. I didn't think he was even still alive ('til Monday).
