rutted - it was a dank rainy morning for my lesson and I had no energy. It was so humid, it was raining inside the rink. I aborted at least one jump I was so startled by a splash on my bare arm.

glassy - coach showed me how to do a loop. I even sort of did one, while hanging onto the boards for dear life to jazzpants for really landing them.

Thanks for the but I don't deserve it! Trust me... it took me years to get it. Even now, when I run into problems landing them, I have to go back to practicing it at the wall to "regain my confidence."

I'm now working on a "wall lutz" (I now two foot the landing on the lutz away from the wall ) and a "wall axel" (which I now have no chance in hell of getting...)

Der-brain me posted in the wrong thread so have deleted this and will post in this week's practice thread, instead. I am very tired today.

Oooh, I hate it when I do that. One rink I skate at actually gave a friend of mine a pass for a free session when she did that, as they must have felt they didn't do a good enough job of reminding people of the schedule change. With gas prices what they are now and the distance she comes, I think it was a really nice thing to do.
