Just a tip: most year-round rinks offer lessons and camps in the summer.
Check www.arenamaps.com to find your local rink's website. Look for "Summer Camps" - most have info online by April.

Unfortunately, the adult (1-day) camp appears to be a thing of the past. I was hoping they would offer it again now that they are staying open year round, but when I asked the program director about it, she danced around the subject for a few minutes and basically said that it didn't make enough money for the rink and was too much work to plan, and she's too busy planning the summer camp.

I'm hoping my club has a seminar - would be for kids and adults - b/c they've been talking about doing something like that, but it may not happen this year.

I am interested in doing an adult skate camp again this year. I thought I would try Hackensack. However, I cannot find any information about it on their website, your skate camp thread, or google. I am now wondering if they are just not going to hold it this year. Does anyone know if this annual camp is being offered this year? If not, do you have a high recommendation for another camp this summer besides Lake Placid? I have already done that one and since traveling with my partner would like to be in a new location for variety.
