I'd love to know where to get figure skating tights at a good price. They're around $13 a pair at the local shop. I would even buy a dozen pairs if that's the only way to get a good price. Can anyone direct me to a good source? I'm primarily looking for footed tights. Thanks!

You may find that ordinary thick tights do fine for practice and you can keep the $13 pairs for "best" - tests and competitions. Most department stores and, increasingly, chemists and supermarkets do thick black tights without a hard line at the top of the thigh (and even if it had one it doesn't matter too much for practice).
