i love it when the zamboni comes and the ice is really wet. When the ice is wet I try to do shoot the duck, ( which i cant go down all the way ) i purposly fall and slide from one side of the week to the other. its SOOO slippery and fun, but then my tights get all wet.. lol. well.. jsut thought i would like to share. you all should try it sometime

LOL I remember doing that at public skate when I was younger when it was really hot out. It felt so much better to be in cold wet tights than hot sweaty tights. Now, if I did something like that on a freestyle session I'd get some pretty weird looks.

I love, about two or three times a year, when the elite dancers start fooling around and trying to jump. Of course we all join in, and it's pretty funny to see these nationally ranked dancers trying to jump- and in dance blades! Although a couple of the guys are pretty good, one can do a (cheated) double axel.

Why is it that when you have one little puddle on the ice you can always manage to fall in it? Works every time for me and certainly not by design.

Isn't that one of the Laws of Skating? Which ought to have a thread of its own, I think I'll start one!
