.......... and then there was the time when I was slowing down my sit spin because I could feel my nose going. From across the other side of the rink came the dulcet tones of Madame Coach "for ******* sake just CUFF IT!"

I find that my nose runs the most during lessons. Figures eh? I think my "favorite" line is, "Excuse me, I need to blow my nose." =-/ It's hard to look beautiful when your nose is running down your face. My coach used to tell me to ignore it and look pretty. Yep, right.

That is so true. I have watched my child's skating tapes and you can actually see it "flinging" during a spin or whatever. Not my child of course, but others. Seriously.

This happened to me before , I was in a lesson and I didn't want to tell my coach because I didn't want to stop the lesson so by the end of the lesson there were little splats of blood in random spots on the ice.
