I've never seen this event, & have only seen a few photos of the wild costumes, etc.

I'm doing the artistic/dramatic part of the event. I'm just skating to pretty music & am planning to just wear a pretty dress. So--for this part (not the comedy), do people also still go really crazy with the costumes? Will I look really out of place?

I'm still going to do it, just want to be prepared for what I'll be in for.....

artistic/dramatic is usually a lot less theatrical in terms of music and costumes. My dress is very simple this year.
