How much scratch?

Over the last month I finally reached "critical mass" and developed a consistantly recognizable scratch spin. In an attempt to get complete muscle memorization, over the course of a 1-1/2 hour skate yesterday I probably did at least 30 scratch spins. Of course it was also a lot of fun.

Some of my spins still do get a bit scratchy.

Which is my question. Should the pick drag the surface a little, or should I be striving to not let it drag at all?

Jon

It should drag a little (that's why it's called a scratch spin!).
