had my first lesson

so last night was mine an my sisters first lesson at ice sheffield.

there were a fair few ppl in our group and maybe 5 groups on the ice so it was pretty busy. all in all tho i loved it. glad ive been practicing in my own time because i think the confidence ive gained is gonna help.

as to be expect we started at the start with stake uk 1 which the whole group passed with relative easy then onto some level 2 stuff, backwards stroking by far the hardest.

the hour just flew by and i cant wait to get on the ice again for more practice an lessons. love it!

Yes, congratulations. You know you have it bad when you count the days/hours until when you are next on the ice ...

That's so cool - I used to have semi-privates with my niece when I first started taking lessons. Let me "justify" spending my own money on myself. LOL

Glad you enjoyed your lesson.

PS - Is AW1 your sister?

lol no not that i know off, shes not on the forum yet but will point her in this direction

i also used my niece as a cover story to get into skating haha. was a good thing we could do together an go an have some fun. think some ppl might find it odd that a 22 y o guy wants to start figure skating. having said that there were a few guys on the ice, mostly older tho.
