Bronze Moves Test

Yippeee I passed!! All three judges passed me. I think I skated about as good as I could have given the pressure and my nerves. Again I was nervous in the warm up but once I started the first move I was better. I got some good comments from the judges and also some notes for things to work on.

Now onward to the Bronze freestyle test! I am half way qualified for Adult Nationals!!!!! Now just to chant the following untill I pass the freestyle:

I will do a back spin
I will do a sit spin
I will do a back spin
I will do a sit spin

I will I will I will!!!!

Thanks for all of you giving me support and to a GREAT COACH!!!!!!

YaaaaaaHooooooo!!!

Congratulations!
My freestyle chant will be along the song "The Last Time" by INXS"
"This time"
"Will be the last time"
"This time"
"Will be the last time"

When I do pass moves and take the free it will be test attempt #5- I had issues with the loop, sitspin and backscratch spin and those test attempts were before moves were a requirement!

Congrats, MusicSkateFan! When/if I pass that test, I'll be chanting about the backspin and loop jump.

Any advice for those of us still plugging away on those moves?

Woo-hoo! Congratulations. You're actually 3/4 the way to qualifying for AN, considering that you've now passed 3 of the 4 required tests!

WOO HOO!!! Congrats to MusicSkateFan!!!

(And I'm so jealous!!! I've been too busy working on my moves and my artistic program to really concentrate on working on getting loops or flips right now. Thank goodness I finally am starting to get the backspin now...)

WELL DONE!!!!

And yes, you will pass your Bronze free - I'm told it's much easier than the Moves - and you will go to Dallas in 2006! I have my spies..... I'll know if you don't!

Yay! NoVa and I skated at Reston Sunday morning, and when Bridgette got there I asked about your test... she didn't know if you'd passed or not but she said that you'd done a great job on the ice.

Now, cut out those 4-jump combinations for a week or two and spend the time working on spins instead!

Did you sign up for Peach?

Congratulations! I just passed that test, myself, and I know what a huge relief it is to get it over with!

Good luck on the Bronze free. I'm working on that one now and hope to test it in September!
