Oh I know that dress, Kyra Vancrayelinghe skated in it:
![]() My skating friend (who works in the fashion industry and has an interest in that sorta stuff) talked to her about that dress and she said the sleeves were rather uncomfortable, apparently. |

I use Kwik-sew almost exclusively...either their separate patterns or from their Active Wear book (has a sew of master patterns that you can mix and match). I like the way it fits and have never needed to worry about wedgies or other fit problems.
I sew with a regular machine (stretch stitch or triple zig-zag) and a serger. I'm currently working on a costume for my artistic program and it's a bear-tons of fringe!!! I always forget to take photos of dresses I make, because I make them for our shows.

Tee-hee. My latest costume, just finished today, is Frosty the Snowman! It fought me every step of the way, and I ended up making it quite differently from my original concept. I'm just relieved the darn thing is finished.
I make all my daughters and my costumes and dresses. It is so much fun! I use a Kwik Sew leotard pattern and modify as I go along. I never to seem to have photos though.

Is that a skating costume?
I heard somebody finished 2nd in an interpretive event here in the Netherlands by skating to "I'm big... Blue... I'm Fuzzy" or something like that, wearing a giant blue furry suit from top to toe. |
