WOW! I love that dress, too! PattyP, any chance you'll tell us what brand it is or who made it for you? (Chances are, the designer has other nice ones like it...)

Thanks everyone for the dress complements!

I have to admit that it's my favorite as well. In fact I liked it so much that I'm keeping it another season. I have a new program, but I'm using the same dress. My coach and I picked music that would go with the dress!

The dress maker is Mare Talbot, she is amazing. The dress was custom designed for me. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it to get exactly what I wanted. For those of you who saw me at AN, she did the Miss Piggy dress too.

PattyP

ps I love Flutzilla's dress too!

I found some more - with a slightly less restrained choice of outfit (so much for "nothing too tight" MQSeries) It was an interp at least.

This would be quite a good mid air shot, if it didn't make my butt look so big . While I admit to having something of a skaters butt, this picture does me no justice. I guess face on would be better too

And the big finish

I just noticed how the tan on my arms stops before the shirt starts. Not sure I am going to resort to the fake tan just yet though!

Cool shirt--looks like liquid silver.
Let's not talk about tight shirts. I'm about ready to pop out of my shirt (purlple velvet) used in my pair skating program.

Hey, nothing wrong with those pics at all. Looking pretty good. Didn't look like you were stuffing yourself in something that was 2 sizes too small and nothing was rolling over the pant edges/popping out that shouldn't be

I have one of those dresses! The first one, except mine is teal not purple (I almost got the purple one though!). I love the way it looks on you! I haven't gotten to wear mine yet but hopefully will soon!

Pictures of me skating....well this isn't a moving photo but this is a group shot from our ice show last month... I'm the tallest! The dresses look much better in real life, they are black with rainbow glitter all over.

I'd like to think that I don't actually have anything to roll over or pop out
Maybe when I hit middle age, but I'm not there just yet.

Dresses

Thanks everyone for the compliments on my dress! It was a combination birthday/Christmas present from my husband -- I won it in an online auction last summer. It's one of Carrie Jones's dresses -- she has some really amazing stuff that I would love to buy more of at some point.

Now all I have to do is find a way to fit back into this dress again and I'll be a truly happy camper.

Actually, while I do happen to like purple, it is not my favorite color. The long sleeve dress is my freeskate dress, and we only used it because of the bell sleeves (my music is italian classical). The other one I got just because it was pretty! Though, I would love to see either of the dresses with the purple skates! It would complete the outfit!

It was completely random that all the purple dress pictures got put together. There are red dress, black dress, and green dress pictures elsewhere. Just for some reason not on that page.

I'm getting mine done by Carrie, two in fact. Delivery date is September 15! Mine are like two on her site, one is like the "flame", same colours with a free style skirt and sort of Chinese detailing (I am skating to 'Butterfly Lovers' a famous Chinese song) and the other like the "vibrant" but purple and blue instead of green and pink (skating to classical piano).

She seem great to deal with...good to hear you are happy with her dresses!

I enjoyed your photos everyone! Thanks for sharing. I don't skate. Somewhere there is a photo of me as a teen skating on our neighborhood rink....I've been wanting to find it to share it with my forum friends but I have not been able to.
