Soakers Pattern
Does anyone have instructions or a pattern for making skate soakers.

At its most basic, cut a piece of towelling about 30 cm by 15 cm, make a casing along the two long ends, fold in half, sew up the sides, leaving one of the casings open; thread about 45 cm of thin elastic through, sew up, and sew up the casing. Repeat for 2nd soaker.
Any decorative outer covers are up to you!

Make sure it's THICK toweling though - my mum made my first pair of soakers for me, and they only lasted about a month because the material wasn't thick enough and the ends of my blades made big holes in both. I gave up and moved onto shop bought ones
