Midwest Adult Sectionals

OK, our turn!

I signed up for Champ Gold (although I don't expect much out of that) and, for the first time, the open Gold III (since I'm not going to AN, I splurged).

Champ Gold, Open Gold 2, Masters Interp 2. I certainly HOPE they don't schedule FS like last year with the open >1 hour before Champ!

Geez, I'd love to come watch Sk8er1964, especially since this is in Strongsville? I could stay at my Dad's......do you think we can get Michigansk8er to come too?

Will you be doing my fave "spinny-thing" element in your pair program?

I'm getting old. Spinny-thing? Is that where he drops me to the ice or throws me to the ice?

We'll have to ask Michigansk8er. I would be great to have you come up! I missed seeing you this year, what with the Buckeye problems.

LOL! Of course I'm referring to the death spiral.......I couldn't remember the name of it when I saw you do it at the Buckeye so called it "that spinny thing......"

Would love to come watch all of you!

I've only just heard that the "Pairs ho" is back on the ice after injury - do give him a hug from me!

Thanks! Having seen you two skate, though, I imagine you'll be far more successful than we are. You skate well together!

The "pairs ho" and I are skating mostly for the fun of it, and, to put it in his words, "to promote adult pairs". We decided to do Mids only because his US AN pairs partner wasn't going to the competition. Heck, if two people of our age and, ahem, my, umm, un-pairs-skater-like physique can skate pairs, than anyone can! Also, as a died-in-the-wool singles skater, I find pairs to be much less stressful and a lot more fun than competing singles. Then again, I don't have any expectations for our pairs results!

Well-I'll miss all the gold ladies, such a good group. I currently suck, really, my skating is awful and the doctors can't help. Anybody got a spare hip?

Looking forward to seeing you again, CA

COSKATER64, even if your skating currently stinks, I do hold you in very high regard for having the guts to MOVE UP from Gold.

We will miss you in the group, but not too much if I end up 4th! LOL!
