bruise padding

I have a bit of a dilema right now. i have this huge bruise, about the size of a baseball, on the inside of my leg, above the ankle. i'm not sure where it came from, but i noticed it a couple of days ago, and i was hoping by today, it'd be gone and i wouldn't have a problem skating. no such luck. even when i accidently brush against it, it's still sore. does anyone know of anything i can use that might cushion the spot but not take up to much room in my skate? i know people recommend bunga pads, but the pro shop won't be open today, so i won't be able to get them there, and ordering them now online won't help with today. so does anyone have any ideas?

Try a thin, flat cosmetic sponge held in place by your sock.
