I was just wondering how much coaches earn these days? UK that is. A couple of years ago we were paying £10 per hour, but im not sure of the rates now, so if anyone could help me out...

My rink charges £7.50 per 15 minute lesson. The coaches dont get all of that as the rink takes a cut but I'm not sure of the percentage.
The coaches all get the same regardless of level (which doesn't seem quite fair to me but that's the way it is here)

Forgot to add that ice time is on top of the lesson costs. The pupils pay that not the coaches.
I think it is £1.80 per 30 mins of patch ice. Public sessions cost about £4 odd for a 1.5 or 2 hour session which is good value if the session is quiet like the morning ones used to be before 'Dancing on Ice' brought people pouring in!

Depending on which coach you have at our rink, costs range from £6.50 to £8.00 per 15 minutes. Patch ice is £3.50 per ice although there is a patch unlimited ticket for £70.00 per month.

£6.50-7.00 for 30 min + 3.50 for ice time.
I don't know why out rink seems to be 50% cheaper than UK average, but I certainly don't mind it staying this way.
